In my past life, I worked for various retail companies. I left my most recent position as an applications analyst for a large children's retailer to stay home with my three children.
My interest in sewing began when my mother gave me a sewing machine a few years ago so that I could hem my own pants. I still haven't learned how to do that, but I did learn how to sew small simple projects.
I started quilting in January 2011. After admiring a vintage quilt, my husband encouraged me to take a beginner quilting class. Thanks to him I have a healthy fabric obsession and a creative outlet.
When I'm not busy keeping house or chasing after kids, I spend my time sewing, blog-hopping, and participating in too many virtual bees and swaps.
